Am here to talk about my own experince , you may agree on some things, maybe n’t let me know…

exaclty 6 months passed from the moment i decided to lunch Bloggersmosaic , it was long funny journy to be honest , yes i learnt alot and still…i end up with one concept or idea ” it’s easy to work for someone, its hard to work for yourself but do it  ”, salut for all the guys, who run solo startup website and make a dream reality .

I will give my own list of what can kill your startup and what can keep it a life, then i will go back to bloggersmosaic ups and down.

10 kiss of death:

1. Think you can make it just like that.
because of one blog post, one idea, using one social site or way to promote.

2. Giving 1-2 hours or less daily for your startup.
it needs time and alot of time if you give your project 5 hours daily i can give you a break , but less you will never gonna make it . why it needs that kind of time …when u do it you will know.

3. N’t taking time off your daily work ,to invest in your startup.
i think this is the biggest mistake any solo startup guy can do, nothing will worth your 7-11, like your own startup specially when u r done with editting, deleting, adding ,and finally stop listening to feedback.

4.Losing your target audience, visitors or customers.

yeah i know you manage to have 60k visitors to your site within 3 months, good for you body, how many turn to be cutomer, or is target visitor ? howto video site will n’t make it, if its %80 from visitor are looking for porn ! .

5.N’t understanding the differance between online pr, internet markteing, personal branding.
this is the kiss of the kisses to kill your startup, what you can do? google each one , read read again understand then apply don’t avoid any of it.

6. N’t thinking outside the box.
if you gonna follow each step every startup guru is trying to sell you …you qre ready to die, and kill your startup, unless you bring something new, what will attract others? think about this between old bar and new bar …which one you wanna spend your weekend at? both have same goods ?

7.N’t investing money.
yes, you can get do most of things by your self free, or asking others for it, but pr +marketing needs money but don’t get loans … a dollar from your own money worths 100 from loans, because you will be very careful where to spend it , if you spend more than 10k , there is something wrong!

8.Still n’t having desktop “To do ” notepad file, and papers note.

nothing can keep you on to go and ready, like the Notepad, from copy and save links on your to do notepad for design or writing article, arrange table time, your notepad file is the best you can get…it will inspire you! ..yeah that stupid white text file. Plus let me talk about the classic note paper…if until now you don’t have one or didn’t write a signle thing on it ..bye bye for your startup , ok are you so digital taking notes on your iphone, ok dude whatever makes you happy, just keep the offline mood working.

9. blocking your self from the outside world.
go out really on weekends , when you can , you know that time when your brain blocks or shut down…go out walk near by , for the love of god open the window bring the light on , talk on phone for couple of mins ..shut down the youtube …it will n’t change your mind like Going out.

10. Relationship…don’t make or break.
this is for me, idk about you, don’t ask your girlfriend to move in (Big mistake!), don’t ask her to move out(no comment). don’t start new relationship unless you were working on before…its like you open your door for the problems family, remember bad things come as a group.

Kiss of life to your startup

1.After all the downs… you still have the spirit you have before you jump in.

i just can’t tell you about positive mind attitude, or keeping faith ..but that what differance winner from L….

2.Doing the classical .
i know i told you about thinking outside the box, but do the classical and think outside the box “parallel”…links building parallel with giving your cute niece, or your hot gf your startup logo shirt, to wear it while shopping @ mall.

3.Time.
i know you couldn’t give your startup today more than 5 mins…ok great 5 mins better than nothing.

4.Enough is enough.
am here talking about editting text, adding and removing images models, changing design. and most important taking feedback from anyone, don’t get me wrong! get feedback as much as you can get first 1-2 months after than u r done.. if you can listen to other you will never be done or good enough to go.

5.Beta sites.

join as much as you can, setup your profile, add your site link , browse around, add friends… always a good way to spread the word.

back to Bloggersmosaic , it didn’t fit for all kiss of death because it still a life, but couple of these slow things , adding something new! or n’t having message hurt a little bit, n’t getting pr and marketing … but all the downs are over and mistakes leanrt .

its new begining by going green and have message to deliver!
